About
If you need a designer or a photographer, shoot me an email.
Lindsay Benson Garrett holds a BFA in graphic design from one of the top design schools in the country, Virginia Commonwealth University. She currently works for the Meals On Wheels Association of America (MOWAA), where she is the sole graphic designer for the national organization.
While at MOWAA, Lindsay has had the pleasure of working on many exciting projects. Her favorite has been the rebranding of the organization and the development of a campaign to be used by thousands of local Meals On Wheels programs across the country. Her logo design and photography will be featured. The new identity and campaign launches in September, 2011.
Lindsay’s talents in photography inspired the launching of a niche stock photography store featuring modern day senior life and Meals On Wheels programs. Her photography has been published in numerous publications like the New York Times, USA Today, Media Planet, New York Observer, Dance Magazine, Pointe magazine, and RVA Magazine. Her style stems from the goal of capturing the essence of her subject. She loves dance, portrait, and food photography.
In design, she strives to create clear, witty designs with a human touch. In the age of instant technology, evidence of the designer’s hand shines triumphantly. Lindsay has an obsession with good typography, plush paper, and tending to her herb garden.
In her spare time, she loves to dance. In college, she performed with the Richmond Ballet as a trainee. Currently, she dances with Dancin’ Unlimited in the D.C. area.
In October, 2011, she and her husband founded Red Garrett LLC, a muti-faceted, multitalented design firm.
